The Three Parishes Big Local Partnership is pleased to announce the launch of the next phase of their Community Plan. Covering 3 years from September 2016, the next phase of the Community Plan sets out how the Partnership will invest £480,000 of Big Lottery funding in improving the lives of people who live and work in the three communities of Gobowen, St Martins and Weston Rhyn.
Successful projects which were introduced since the programme started in 2014 will continue – these include the Community Chest small grants scheme and the Big Grants Scheme for larger projects, School Savings Clubs and Community Events. The next phase also includes two major new projects – “My Money Matters” which will focus on personal finance education and issues, and an Enterprise Support programme designed to boost local business and social enterprise.
A public meeting is being held on Wednesday 28th September at 7:00pm at St John’s Church in Weston Rhyn to formally launch the next three years activities and for people who live or work in these three communities to come along and find out more about the next phase of the Community Plan.
Partnership Chairman Nick Heard said “Three Parishes Big Local is a community-led programme and our public meeting on 28th September will give local people the opportunity to come along and find out about the Community Plan for the next 3 years, and to share their ideas with the Partnership.
“We are also asking local businesses and social enterprises which are interested in finding out more about the Enterprise Support programme to get in touch”
